A scirocco is a cyclone you find in the Mediterranean. The Pacific has typhoons, the Atlantic has hurricanes, and the Mediterranean has sciroccos.

Well, I started this site with the notion that I would record the events that happen in or around this car I have.  It seems this was not the case.  The site has grown to be, at best, a mediocre technical resource for fellow Scirocco owners, and by no means a chronicle.  So from now on I will be making a more deliberate attempt at adding meatier content to this here "chronicle".  Consider yourselves warned.
